Document for religious marriage
The baptism certificate is not usually part of the requirements for civil marriage. It may be requested by the parish to prepare a Catholic marriage or other canonical procedure.
Recent certificate and annotations
The parish may require a recently issued certificate with marginal notations regarding confirmation, previous marriage or other sacramental information.
Other ecclesiastical documents
Depending on the case, they may request a confirmation certificate, proof of premarital course, parish permit or marriage freedom file.
