The Italian Embassy indicates that the Italian citizen must request in his Commune the birth certificate with the names of the parents. The Peruvian municipality defines the accepted version and age.

The Italian document must comply with the formalities indicated by the municipality, normally an apostille or legalization and translation into Spanish when appropriate.
