What does the certificate certify?
The certificato dei carichi pendenti allows knowledge of certain ongoing criminal proceedings in which the Italian Public Prosecutor's Office has already carried out criminal action and the person has assumed the status of accused.
Where to apply in Italy
While the national registry is not fully operational, it is normally issued by the Procura della Repubblica competent for the place of residence. A certificate requested from another prosecutor's office may have a limited territorial scope.
Application from abroad
The interested person or a delegated representative may request it following the instructions of the competent prosecutor's office. It is advisable to indicate from the beginning that it will be used in Peru.
Use of the document in Peru
Before requesting it, confirm with the Peruvian entity the accepted validity, the apostille and the type of translation required. Send us all the pages, stamps and annexes.
Difference compared to the casellario
The casellario giudiziale mainly reports on mentionable definitive resolutions; carichi pendenti refer to procedures that are still in progress.
