Recognition and revalidation are not the same
SUNEDU carries out the administrative recognition of foreign degrees and titles. Revalidation or homologation involves an academic evaluation and is processed before a licensed Peruvian university.
The diploma
The document must identify the holder, the institution, the degree or title and the date of issue. SUNEDU requires that it can be verified through a database, apostille or legalization, as appropriate.
Spanish translation
When the diploma is in Italian, it must be accompanied by a translation. SUNEDU accepts the translation modalities provided for in its current procedure.
Additional information
If the diploma does not contain all the data that must appear in the recognition, the certificate of studies or the supplement to the degree can be presented.

Confirm that the degree or title is official and of university rank and review the current recognition criteria before preparing the file.
