Cremation authorization and certificate
The authorization allows cremation to be carried out; The subsequent certificate certifies that it was carried out and identifies the ashes. Depending on the procedure, one or both documents may be requested.
Data that must match
The name of the deceased person, the date and place of death and the cremation information must match the death certificate, the urn and the documents of the person transporting or receiving it.
International transfer of ashes
To bring ashes into Italy it may be necessary to obtain authorization from the Commune of destination and the corresponding consular document. To enter Peru, the instructions of the Peruvian consular office and the carrier must be followed.

The airline may establish conditions on packaging, sealing, hand luggage or cargo. Document translation does not replace health, consular or transportation authorizations.
